Greetings to all of my fellow classmates who have taken the time to go through our class website and hopefully you will go one extra step and register your information. 

The reunion committee has decided to take the organization and management of our class reunions more seriously. What this means for you is increased communication and the availability of social networking with your fellow classmates. And hopefully lower participation costs for future class reunions.

It all starts with our own website and database management system which will help us communicate with each other.  When you register and keep your profile updated we will be able to plan future reunions more efficiently.   We have added $5 to each reunion ticket sold in 2007 to cover the costs of building and maintaining the website.  Any additional money raised through increased class participation will be used to fund and/or lower the cost of future class reunions. 

The reunion committee will operate with full and open disclosure so all of our classmates are fully aware of how we’ve operated the event.  The excess proceeds from our twenty year class reunion will be posted on this website and will be placed into an interest barring account that requires two signatures for release.  The account holders will be reunion Chairman Robert Belzer and I will be responsible to report on the monies to the reunion committee and the whole class of 1987.  Any money left after the last reunion sometime “In the year 2047” will be given to the last classmate who can prove they were in Robbinsdale Armstrong Graduating Class of 1987.  We know it’s hard to imagine us reaching 100 + years of age but then again from what I hear that person will need the money to cover the cost of healthcare. 

I hope to hear from you and see you at our 20 year class reunion.  A lot of fellow classmates are putting in a great deal of effort to make it a success.  The more people that attend and reconnect will be left with a lifetime of memories and something to talk about at the next reunion.
